The Enhanced Youth Outreach Worker program (EYOW) provides intensive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive support to vulnerable, high-risk, and at-risk Black youth, who face violence, disengagement from school, mental-health challenges, addictions, homelessness, disconnection from schools and other systemic barriers. Our program focuses on building resilience, strengthening decision-making skills, and fostering meaningful connections.
Services include:
- Supportive counselling
- One-on-one support and mentorship
- Homework and academic assistance
- Resume building and employment support
- Life skills development
- Social activities and community-building opportunities
- Support at school and in the community
- Referrals and much more!
