Enhanced Youth Outreach Worker Program

The Enhanced Youth Outreach Worker program (EYOW) provides intensive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive support to vulnerable, high-risk, and at-risk Black youth, who face violence, disengagement from school, mental-health challenges, addictions, homelessness, disconnection from schools and other systemic barriers. Our program focuses on building resilience, strengthening decision-making skills, and fostering meaningful connections. 

Services include: 

  • Supportive counselling  
  • One-on-one support and mentorship 
  • Homework and academic assistance 
  • Resume building and employment support 
  • Life skills development 
  • Social activities and community-building opportunities 
  • Support at school and in the community 
  • Referrals and much more!
