In observance of Victims and Survivors of Crime Week, HSDC hosts free week-long community workshops and activities that bring together survivors, service providers, and community partners in Scarborough to address violence, crime and the need for increased victim support.
Our goal is to increase awareness, strengthen community connections, build trust, and create more compassionate networks of support for victims and survivors of crime.
Program highlights include:
- Interactive Workshops & Dialogues: Sessions providing practical tools, networks, and knowledge necessary to strengthen prevention, healing, and restorative practices.
- Expert Facilitation: Workshops led by experienced victim advocates, justice professionals, mental health practitioners, and community organizers.
